The Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying:
Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them: If any man has a flow from his body, his flow is unclean.
This is the law of his uncleanness: discharging seed from his body through the flow by which his body has become stopped up—this is his uncleanness within him. All the days of his body’s flow, in which his body has become stopped up through the flow, are his uncleanness.
Every bed on which the man with a seminal discharge lies is unclean, and every article on which the man with a seminal discharge sits shall be unclean.
Whoever touches his bed shall wash his garments, bathe in water, and be unclean until evening.
Whoever sits on an article on which the man with a seminal discharge has sat shall wash his garments, bathe in water, and be unclean until evening.
Whoever touches the skin of the man with a seminal discharge shall wash his garments, bathe in water, and be unclean until evening.
If the man with a seminal discharge spits on someone clean, that person shall wash his garments, bathe in water, and be unclean until evening.
Any donkey saddle on which the man with a seminal discharge mounts shall be unclean until evening.
Whoever touches anything that was under him shall be unclean until evening. Whoever carries those things shall wash his garments, bathe in water, and be unclean until evening.
Anyone whom the man with a seminal discharge touches when he has not washed his hands shall wash his garments, bathe his body in water, and be unclean until evening.
An earthenware vessel touched by the man with a seminal discharge shall be shattered, and a wooden vessel shall be washed with water and be clean.
When the man with a seminal discharge is cleansed from his flow, he shall count seven days for his cleansing, wash his garments, bathe his body in water, and be clean.
On the eighth day he shall take two turtledoves or two young pigeons, bring them before the Lord to the doors of the Tent of Testimony, and give them to the priest.
The priest shall prepare them, one for sin and one for a whole burnt offering. The priest shall make propitiation for him before the Lord for his flow.
If a man has an emission of semen, he shall bathe his whole body in water and be unclean until evening.
Every garment and every skin on which there is semen shall be washed with water and be unclean until evening.
If a man lies with a woman with an emission of semen, they shall bathe in water and be unclean until evening.
If a woman has a flow of blood, her flow shall be in her body; she shall remain in her menstrual discharge for seven days. Whoever touches her shall be unclean until evening,
Everything on which she lies during her menstrual discharge shall be unclean, and everything on which she sits shall be unclean.
Whoever touches her bed shall wash his garments, bathe his body in water, and be unclean until evening.
Whoever touches any article on which she sits shall wash his garments, bathe in water, and be unclean until evening.
If, while she is on her bed or on the article on which she sits, he touches her, he shall be unclean until evening.
If anyone lies with her and her uncleanness comes upon him, he shall be unclean for seven days, and every bed on which he lies shall be unclean.
If a woman has a flow of blood for many days outside the time of her menstrual discharge, or if she also has a flow after her menstrual discharge, all the days of her unclean flow shall be like the days of her menstrual discharge; she shall be unclean.
Every bed on which she lies during all the days of her flow shall be like the bed of her menstrual discharge, and every article on which she sits shall be unclean, as in the uncleanness of her menstrual discharge.
Whoever touches her shall be unclean. He shall wash his garments, bathe his body in water, and be unclean until evening.
When she is cleansed from her flow, she shall count seven days, and afterward she shall be cleansed.
On the eighth day she shall take two turtledoves or two young pigeons and bring them to the priest at the entrance of the Tent of Testimony.
The priest shall prepare one for sin and one for a whole burnt offering. The priest shall make propitiation for her before the Lord for her unclean flow.
You shall make the sons of Israel wary of their uncleannesses, so that they do not die because of their uncleanness by defiling My tent that is among them.
This is the law for the man with a seminal discharge and for anyone who has an emission of semen and becomes defiled through it,
for the woman bleeding in her menstrual discharge, for the one with a seminal discharge in his flow, male or female, and for the man who lies with a woman in menstrual separation.
