Editorial guide

This reading edition follows the Greek main text ofRahlfs–Hanhart (2006), checked throughout against the publisher’s display. The paired Hebrew in the study companions was checked against BHS (1997). The full critical apparatus and the NETS Numbers file were unavailable. Editorial headings aid reading; they do not identify an official historical lectionary.

Greek source order and numbering are retained. The study companions align some passages by content: Greek 1:24–37, the parenthesis after 6:23 (Hebrew 6:27), 10:34–36, and the tribal lists in chapter 26. Greek chapter 17 corresponds to familiar English 16:36–17:13; Greek 26:1 spans Hebrew 25:19–26:1; Greek 30:1–17 corresponds to familiar English 29:40–30:16. These are alignment differences, not missing material.

Familiar English names are used for the same person where appropriate; substantive name differences remain. Spirit is capitalized where divine agency is explicit. Translation comparisons and attributed rabbinic, apostolic, and patristic interpretations remain in the study companions.
