1This is the law of the ram for the offense offering; it is most holy.
2Where they slaughter the whole burnt offering, they shall slaughter the ram of the offense offering before the Lord, and he shall pour the blood all around upon the base of the altar.
3He shall present all its fat from it: the loin, all the fat covering the inner parts, and all the fat on the inner parts,
4the two kidneys and the fat on them, which is by the thighs, and the lobe on the liver; these he shall remove with the kidneys.
5The priest shall offer them up on the altar as an offering to the Lord. It is for an offense.
6Every male among the priests may eat them. They shall eat them in a holy place; they are most holy.
7As with the offering for sin, so with the offering for offense: they have one law. It belongs to the priest who makes propitiation with it.
8The priest who presents a person’s whole burnt offering shall have the hide of the whole burnt offering he presents.
9Every sacrifice prepared in an oven and every one prepared on a hearth or on a griddle belongs to the priest who presents it.
10Every sacrifice, prepared with oil or not so prepared, belongs to all Aaron’s sons, to each an equal share.
11This is the law of the sacrifice of deliverance that they shall present to the Lord.
12If he presents it for praise, he shall present with the sacrifice of praise loaves of fine flour prepared with oil, unleavened wafers spread with oil, and fine flour mixed with oil.
13With leavened loaves he shall present his gifts, with a sacrifice of praise and deliverance.
14He shall present one from all his gifts as a portion set apart for the Lord. It shall belong to the priest who pours the blood of the deliverance offering.
15The meat of the sacrifice of praise and deliverance shall belong to him and be eaten on the day it is given; they shall leave none of it until morning.
16If he sacrifices his gift as a vow or a voluntary offering, it shall be eaten on the day he presents his sacrifice and on the next day.
17What remains of the sacrifice’s meat until the third day shall be burned up with fire.
18If he eats any of the meat on the third day, it shall not be accepted for the one presenting it or credited to him. It is a defilement, and whoever eats from it shall bear the sin.
19Meat that touches anything unclean shall not be eaten; it shall be burned up with fire. Everyone clean may eat meat.
20But anyone who eats meat from the sacrifice of deliverance that belongs to the Lord while his uncleanness is upon him shall perish from among his people.
21If anyone touches any unclean thing, human uncleanness, unclean four-footed animals, or any unclean abomination, and eats meat from the sacrifice of deliverance that belongs to the Lord, that person shall perish from among his people.
22The Lord spoke to Moses, saying:
23Speak to the sons of Israel, saying: You shall eat no fat of cattle, sheep, or goats.
24Fat from animals found dead or torn by wild animals may be used for any work, but it must not be eaten as food.
25Whoever eats fat from the livestock from which an offering is presented to the Lord, that person shall perish from among his people.
26You shall eat no blood in any of your dwelling places, whether of birds or livestock.
27Any person who eats blood shall perish from among his people.
28The Lord spoke to Moses, saying:
29You shall speak to the sons of Israel, saying: Whoever presents a sacrifice of deliverance to the Lord shall bring his gift to the Lord from the sacrifice of deliverance.
30His hands shall present the offerings to the Lord: the fat on the breast and the lobe of the liver. He shall present them to place them as a gift before the Lord.
31The priest shall offer up the fat on the altar, and the breast shall belong to Aaron and his sons.
32From your sacrifices of deliverance you shall give the right foreleg as a portion set apart for the priest.
33The one among Aaron’s sons who presents the blood of the deliverance offering and the fat shall have the right foreleg as his portion.
34For I have taken the breast of the presentation and the foreleg of the portion set apart from the sons of Israel, from your sacrifices of deliverance, and have given them to Aaron the priest and his sons as a perpetual ordinance from the sons of Israel.
35This is Aaron’s anointing and his sons’ anointing from the Lord’s offerings, on the day he brought them forward to serve as priests to the Lord,
36as the Lord commanded to be given them from the sons of Israel on the day he anointed them, a perpetual ordinance throughout their generations.
37This is the law of the whole burnt offerings, the sacrifice, the offering for sin, the offense offering, the consecration, and the sacrifice of deliverance,
38as the Lord commanded Moses on Mount Sinai on the day He commanded the sons of Israel to present their gifts before the Lord in the wilderness of Sinai.
