1On the day Moses finished setting up the Tent, he anointed and consecrated it and all its furnishings, the altar and all its utensils. He anointed and consecrated them.
2The rulers of Israel, twelve rulers of their ancestral houses, presented offerings. These were the tribal rulers, the men presiding over the enrollment.
3They brought their gifts before the Lord: six covered wagons and twelve oxen, a wagon from every two rulers and a young bull from each. They presented them before the Tent.
4The Lord said to Moses, saying:
5Take these from them for the ministering work of the Tent of Testimony. Give them to the Levites, each according to his ministry.
6Moses took the wagons and oxen and gave them to the Levites.
7He gave two wagons and four oxen to the sons of Gershon, according to their ministries.
8He gave four wagons and eight oxen to the sons of Merari, according to their ministries, through Ithamar son of Aaron the priest.
9He gave none to the sons of Kohath, because they had the ministries of the sanctuary; they shall carry them on their shoulders.
10The rulers presented gifts for the dedication of the altar on the day he anointed it. The rulers presented their gifts before the altar.
11The Lord said to Moses: One ruler each day, a ruler each day, shall present their gifts for the dedication of the altar.
12The one presenting his gift on the first day was Nahshon son of Amminadab, ruler of the tribe of Judah.
13He presented his gift: one silver dish weighing one hundred thirty shekels and one silver bowl of seventy sanctuary shekels, both full of fine flour prepared with oil for a sacrifice.

84This was the dedication of the altar from the rulers of the sons of Israel on the day he anointed it: twelve silver dishes, twelve silver bowls, and twelve gold incense vessels,
85Each dish weighed one hundred thirty shekels and each bowl seventy shekels. All the silver of the vessels was two thousand four hundred sanctuary shekels.
86The twelve gold incense vessels were full of incense. All the gold of the incense vessels was one hundred twenty gold units.
87All the cattle for whole burning were twelve young bulls, with twelve rams and twelve year-old male lambs, and their sacrifices and libations; also twelve male goats from the goats for sin.
88All the cattle for the sacrifice of deliverance were twenty-four heifers, with sixty rams, sixty male goats, and sixty unblemished year-old ewe lambs. This was the dedication of the altar after the filling of his hands and after anointing him.
89When Moses entered the Tent of Testimony to speak with Him, he heard the voice of the Lord speaking to him from above the propitiatory cover on the Ark of Testimony, between the two cherubim. He spoke to him.
